Buffalo, NY – A Black History Month Celebration was sponsored by Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown Thursday at City Hall.

The event celebrated the past triumphs, present contributions and the future role of African Americans in American Society.

The emcee of the celebration was the Rev. Richard Stenhouse. The event feature Dr. Barbara Seals-Nevergold from the Uncrowded Queens, Mayor Brown, Erie County Executive Chris Collins, music by the Royal African Sounds, City Court Judge Hon. James A. W. McLeod and students Aitina Fareed and Corey Stanfield.
