Niagara Health Quality Coalition Receives National Distinction

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – A Buffalo area organization has received national distinction for improving the quality and value in health care.

The Niagara Health Quality Coalition is one of just 14 communities recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services as a Chartered Value Exchange. That designation means the Coalition has focused on the quality of health care and quality of its measures, such as the New York State Hospital Report Card.

Bruce Boissonnault is president and CEO of the Coalition. Boissonnault says through their Web site, www.myhealthfinder.com, citizens can access vital hospital information.
