Buffalo, NY – A Buffalo high school has been named one of the top 100 high schools in the United States. City Honors ranks at number 50 by "US News and World Report."
City Honors Principal William Kresse met with reporters at the school on East North Street Friday. He credits the school's high academic standards for gaining the ranking.
Kresse says requirements for graduation at City Honors are well beyond what is required by the state.
This was the first time "US News and World Report" rated high schools. The magazine is well known for rating the nation's best colleges and universities.
