Buffalo, NY – A team from the Federal Emergency Management Agency returned to the Buffalo area Thursday, one year after the October surprise storm.
Tree stump removal has remained a lingering issue since last year's devastating storm. U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton says FEMA and the state Emergency Management Office were sending inspection teams back to Erie County to reassess tree stump and debris removal.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown was pleased to know that FEMA returned to review the progress. He says the City continues to seek full reimbursements from the federal agency.
