Buffalo, NY – Now that the United Auto Workers ratified a new deal with General Motors what is ahead for the local workforce?
WBFO'S Eileen Buckley talked with U-A-W Region 9 assistant director Kevin Donovan about the details of this new contract.
The new contract with GM covers mroe than 73,000 active employees, that includes 1,500 who work at the Powertrain plant in Tonawanda. Kevin Donovan says the new deal has secured retiree benefits for the next 80 years.
