Buffalo, NY – Both candidates vying for Erie County Executive picked up new endorsements Tuesday. Democratic candidate James Keane picked up the biggest endorsement. High profile, U.S. Senator and democrat, Charles Schumer stood by Keane's side in Niagara Square Tuesday throwing his support behind Keane's local race.
Meanwhile, Keane's Republican opponent Chris Collins has been endorsed by former Buffalo Mayor James Griffin. After a democratic primary defeat last month, Griffin says he's supporting the Clarence business man because Collins has no political baggage.
Collins says he is thrilled to have Griffin's support and refers to Keane and Clark as career politicians.
