Buffalo, NY – After a year of transition, the Buffalo Museum of Science is settling in with its new president. But there will be no dust settling at the Museum if Mark Mortenson has anything to do with it. The former Disney executive is bringing some fresh ideas - and perhaps a few experiments of his own - to try out. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak sat down and talked with Mortenson about his vision for the complete science experience.
Twenty years as a Disney employee might not sound like the resume of a science director. But this enthusiastic executive brings with him something science museums sometimes leave out of the equation - fun. And the former Californian said he is ready to spread the same sunshine in Buffalo that he said the region has already given him and his family.
