By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – A local radio broadcaster got a chance of a life time. He filmed a small role in the upcoming Batman movie, "The Dark Knight."

Tom Tran, 28, of Cheektowaga is a radio traffic reporter. He is also a stand-up comic and a former US solider who served in Iraq.

This past month has brought an interesting streak of luck for Tran's career. He is is one of 20 finalists to become a Buffalo Sabres emcee. The winner will host ten Sabres home games. But then last week, Tran hit the jackpot. He got called to appear as an extra in the upcoming Batman movie.
