Ottawa, Ontario – Ryan Miller made 15 third-period saves and Chris Drury and Derek Roy each had a goal and an assist as the Buffalo Sabres beat Ottawa 3 to 2 to stay alive in the Eastern Conference finals.
The Sabres nearly squandered a three-goal lead but staved off elimination. They trail in the series three games to one and have forced a Game Five Saturday in Buffalo.
Buffalo snapped a three game losing streak and won for the third time in eight games.
Peter Schaefer and Dean McAmmond scored for the Senators, who had a six game winning streak snapped.
Miller finished with 31 saves.
