Arrests Made in Murder of West Seneca Man

By Mark Scott

Buffalo, NY – West Seneca police have arrested three youths from the Rochester area in connection with last month's murder of a West Seneca resident.

James Gilson, 34, was found dead in his Winspear Road home after an apparent burglary. Police say one of the suspects, Jake Winters, 18, had done some previous home improvement work at Gilson's home. They say Gilson apparently confronted the three after they broke into his home. He was then beaten to death.

The three suspects face charges of second degee murder, robbery and burglary. The others charged are Stephen Le, 19, and Gerald Anderson, III, 18.
