Sabres Lose to Rangers in Second Overtime

By Mark Wozniak

New York City, NY – The New York Rangers beat the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 Sunday in Game Three of their playoff series at Madison Square Garden.

Rangers defenseman Michal Rozsival scored with 3:17 left in the period. Sabres goalie Ryan Miller said he never saw the shot.

"No, I didn't see it," Miller said. "I saw it after I heard it."

Coach Lindy Ruff talked about the Sabres' lack of scoring on the power play Sunday.

"I thought we had some good power plays. We had a couple of poor ones, too," Ruff said. "We had a couple where we did everything but score."

Game Four is Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. The Sabres still hold a two games to one series lead.
