Buffalo, NY – The Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority Thursday rejected the county's 2007 budget, and four year financial forecast.
The control board says the documents are out of balance, and the board will remain a hard control board with strong oversight powers.
Stanley Keysa, a board member, says the Giambra administration does not seem to recognize the county is in a fiscal crisis, and that high taxes are at the root of decreasing revenues, due to the departure of businesses and residents from the region.
