Theatre Talk: Friday, January 5, 2007

By Jim Santella and Anthony Chase, WBFO

Buffalo, NY – Jim and Tony tell us about big changes announced this week at Studio Arena Theatre, which is trying to do more while tightening its financial belt. Can they continue to offer great theater with, as Jim notes, "two planks and a passion?" Tony tells us that it was a simple set for a great show by Chita Rivera in Cincinnati on New Year's Eve. Buffalo United Artists celebrates its 15th anniversary with a presentation of Love! Valour! Compassion! And, A. R. Gurney's The Fourth Wall is opening at the Kavinoky.
