Buffalo, NY – When Louis Grachos came in as Director of the Albright Knox Art Gallery, we were told to expect the unexpected. But hockey, at the art gallery?
Before all you Sabres fans get too excited, there won't be any hockey pucks flying through the halls at the Albright Knox tomorrow night. But this Gusto at the Gallery does promise at least one hat trick of fun hockey activities for kids and their folks.
Grachos says there will be hockey memorabilia and trophies from the Hockey Hall of Fame, much of it centered around Buffalo's beloved Sabres. Grachos says there will even be a Sabres alumni or two, Sabretooth and maybe even a surprise appearance from some on the current roster. Oh, and yeah, there will be hockey art.
The free event gets underway at 3pm Friday.
