Clinton Coy About White House Run As She Campaigns for Re-Election

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – As US Senator Hillary Clinton continues campaigning for her current Senate seat, reporters continue to ask her about a future run for the White House.

It really doesn't matter what topic Hillary Clinton is touting when visiting Buffalo, reporters inevitably ask her the same old question -- will she run for President? But there is never a direct answer.

Recent polls show Clinton well ahead of her rivals for the Senate seat. Just last week Marist Poll said Clinton is "coasting" toward re-election this November. But when asked if it is fair for New Yorkers to re-elect her if she then decides to launch a 2008-Presidential run, Clinton said that is up to the voters.
