Buffalo Forum to Explore Censorship

By Joyce Kryszak

Buffalo, NY – Ray Bradbury's science fiction novel "Fahrenheit 451" envisioned unthinkable intrusions into free speech and even free thought. But many say some of what Bradbury imagined is actually happening.

This Saturday, the Buffalo and Erie County Library will host a day-long examination of censorship. The program, "Read it While You Can" will feature Edward R. Murrow's "See it Now," book signings and a panel discussion on censorship.

WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with free speech advocate Patrick Martin, who is moderator for the event. Click the "listen" icon above to hear their conversation now or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
