WBFO News: ID Chips for Livestock

Buffalo, NY – The federal government is phasing in a national identification tracking system for livestock to help trace and curb threats, such as Mad Cow disease and even bio-terrorism. New York State is advancing what it calls "micro-chip, injectable social security numbers" for livestock. But many farmers worry that Big Brother may be moving into the barn.
