Friday's newscast includes stories on Hurricane Rita. It appears the remnants of the hurricane will not cross Western New York. A crew from Rural Metro Ambulance Service is also on its way to Houston to help with relief efforts. Also, WBFO's Joyce Kryszak reports the county control board is seeking immediate legislative approval of 17 cost-saving initiatives.
