Buffalo, NY – A survey by one of the nation's leading risk management firms finds that about half of all mid- and large-sized businesses in the US purchased terrorism insurance last year. That was up significantly from the previous year's figure of 27 percent.
The risk management firm Marsh surveyed 2,300 businesses about terrorism insurance. Even though there hasn't been a major terrorist incident in this country since 9/11, the survey found that more and more companies are protecting themselves, including 59 percent in upstate New York.
