Buffalo, NY – It's that time of year again when literary buffs -- or just those who like a good Irish party -- will gather downtown for Bloomsday. There will be plenty of singing, and dancing and readings. But this year's celebration of James Joyce's masterpiece, "Ulysses," has a few new episodes.
WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with one of the Bloomsday founders, Lawrence Shine, about the local phenomenon that just keeps, well... blooming. Click the "listen" icon above to hear their conversation.
You catch all the new things blooming with the celebration downtown Thursday, including the film festival, beginning at 3:30pm.
