Buffalo, NY – A Buffalo woman pleaded guilty Monday to embezzling more than $200,000 from the Greater Niagara Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
District Attorney Frank Clark says 45-year-old Kathleen Maeder's theft was discovered following an audit of Boy Scout finances.
"Over the past five years, Maeder, who was connected with a store selling Boy Scout merchandise, had embezzled more than $200,000," Clark said.
Maeder remains free on her own recognizance. She faces one to three years in prison when she's sentenced on June 30th.
