Eden Native Celebrates Corn Festival with a Cabaret

By Joyce Kryzak

Buffalo, NY – Each year the Eden Corn Fest draws about a hundred thousand golden maize worshiping local visitors. Since it's so popular here, Eden native Jill Ann Dugan thought why not in the Big Apple? The professional actress just closed a successful run in New York of her one woman cabaret that pays tribute to Eden's yearly corn celebration.

Dugan appropriately calls the show, "Exit 57-A, Turn Here for the Eden Corn Festival." It's a familiar sign for local corn fest lovers. Although for her New York audiences Dugan thought a little more direction might be helpful. So, she handed out detailed maps following every show. And she thinks some of them just might come. Dugan says that given just a taste of her passion for the festival, New York audiences soon craved more of the homespun goodness.
