Niagara Falls, NY – Several hundred members of the 914th Air Force Reserve wing at the Niagara Falls air base have been called to active duty.
They'll be sent to an undisclosed Middle East location within the two weeks.
The job of the 914th and its massive C-130 transport planes will be to supply troops once they're in place. Members are making arrangements to be away from their jobs and families for up to a year.
The air wing was last activated in October 1990, when reservists were sent to the United Arab Emirates as part of the Gulf War.
