Buffalo, NY – Monday morning's snowfall should disappear by the end of the week. After another cold day Tuesday, temperatures will begin moderating to near 50 degrees by Thursday.
A cold front which moved through the region overnight sparked a general snowfall. Williamsville reported seven inches of snow. Six inches accumulated in Niagara Falls.
As of noon Monday, many side streets in Buffalo remained icy. Slippery roads were to blame for numerous minor accidents across the region.
The snowfall closed a handful of school districts in communities well east of Buffalo.
