Buffalo, NY – Sixteen people have been charged after a two-year investigation into cocaine trafficking in the Buffalo area.
US Attorney Michael Battle says about 12 kilograms of cocaine and $225,000 in cash have been seized since October 2000.
Among those arrested are the two allege drug ring leaders, Louis and Ramon Reyes, brothers from New York City.
Prosecutors say the Reyes brothers were delivering large amounts of cocaine, using vehicles modified to contain false compartments.
