Spoken Arts: Poet D.H. Melhem

By Mary Van Vorst

Buffalo, NY – D.H. Melhem writes from her life. For example, her first collection of poems was called "Notes on 94th Street." 94th Street is where she lives. And when her mother died she produced a collection called "Rest In Love." Melhem has produced five books of poetry, two critical works, a novel, a musical drama and more than 50 published essays. She joined us by phone from New York City in anticipation of her visit to Buffalo.

D.H. Melhem will read in Buffalo, Friday, October 11th at 7:30 in the Buffalo Art Studio at the Tri-Main Center, presented by the Just Buffalo Literary Center.
