Chautauqua Institution, NY – A challenge for all citizens is sorting fact from fiction. In today's technology-driven media world, we're asked to do even more of it, with fewer "screeners" between those producing the information and those receiving it. Almost anything goes, and often does.
The theme of week 5 at the Chautauqua Institution is "Seeking the Truth: the Ethics of Information." William Kristol, editor of the conservative journal "The Weekly Standard," is among the speakers who will address media ethics and their impact on the public.
