Buffalo, NY – Our hot sticky weather is expected to worsen a bit Tuesday.
After a high of 86 degrees Monday, the National Weather Service says we can expect temperatures in the 90s Tuesday.
The heat index, or how the temperature feels in combination with the humidity, could reach 100.
But there are some showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for Wednesday, which should set up a less humid and more comfortable Fourth of July.
Thursday's high is expected to be near 80 degrees.
Public health officials caution people to take extra precautions during the extremely hot weather. Infants and the elderly are particularly vulnerable.
