Blaze Claims Three Brothers

Buffalo, NY – Police believe two brothers are responsible for a house fire that left three of their younger brothers dead.

The fire broke out in an Ontario Street house early Sunday morning.

Eight-year old James Calcaterra, his six year old brother Sammy, and four-year old brother Nick were trapped in the house after a fire broke out in a bedroom shared by their two older brothers.

Their eleven and ten-year old brothers escaped along with their parents, a live-in baby sitter and his son.

The News reports one of those brothers had been playing with a cigarette lighter earlier in the day.
