Alison Zero

Alison Zero is the Talent Producer for WBFO's Live in Allen Hall live-to-air concert series, as well as Music Reporter for Buffalo Avenues.

A graduate of SUNY Oneonta’s Music Industry program, Ms. Zero got her start in this business of music as a publicist at Girlie Action Media & Marketing in New York, NY. During her seven year residency at Girlie Action, Alison represented countless performers, including the likes of Beth Orton, They Might Be Giants, Moby, Bright Eyes and The White Stripes.

Bert Gambini

Bert Gambini is WBFO's Music Director. He's on the air at WBFO, playing jazz for you weekdays from 10AM to 2PM. He is also the host of WBFO's Live in Allen Hall live-to-air concert series.

Kenny MacDonald

Kenny joined WBFO in January 2007 as a reporter in the news room. In September, 2007 he was hired as the producer of "Buffalo Avenues," a weekly music show featuring Western New York-based bands and local performances.

Kenny Macdonald is a fourth-generation native of Galveston, Texas. Growing up, Kenny spent a great deal of time working in journalism. He was chief photographer for his high school and a stringer for his local paper. He produced award-winning, multi-media documentaries on the Galveston's Great 1900 Storm and the lunch counter sit-ins of 1963.

Kenny attended Texas A&M University on a Naval ROTC scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism. Upon graduation he was commissioned as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer and served aboard ships in Seattle and Pearl Harbor. Kenny deployed three times, once to the Western Pacific and twice to the Middle East. While conducting operations at sea, Kenny took every opportunity to practice his announcing voice over the ship's public address system and tactical radio circuits.
