  • From Kate Loder Neaverth:

I very willingly and happily have chosen to live in Buffalo, NY since April of 1989. This is such a livable and friendly city. I can afford to attend a concert featuring a top-notch philharmonic with a classy leading lady, JoAnn Falletta, as our conductor. Our architecture is second to none and we have some beautiful parks for our children. In well under an hour you can get to ski country, the beach or a forest. We have Canada just a moment away and numerous areas with a booming nightlife. It sure doesn’t hurt that my parents live in a house next to my and my son’s apartment building.

I am also in the employ of a wonderful company Amherst Media, Inc. We are the leading publisher of instructional photography books. Who would have thought a publisher creating world-class books would hail from Western NY. I know, there are plenty more fantastic businesses, but this is my essay, isn’t it?

What’s not to like you ask? Don’t get me started, the non-building of The Bridge, the non-development of The Waterfront, the placement of The University and The Football Stadium...but I must say that the good sure outweighs the not so good.
