About Barbara Herrick

Barbara has been helping out at WBFO since the late 1970s when she was a news announcer; subsequently she recorded poetry readings for broadcast, then enjoyed chamber music as announcer on Opus: Classics produced by Joanne Schlegel and engineered by Peggy Scalzo.  These days, she introduces new personnel to the digital audio program at WBFO, and sometimes assists Macy Favor with his Jazz Favorites show.
