Community Billboard

WBFO's primary mission has always been to serve the needs and interests of our community. As a longstanding, proud supporter of arts and culture across Western New York, we're offering the Community Billboard as a new method for small non-profit arts organizations on a limited budget to "get the word out" about important upcoming events.


  • Amherst Women’s Interclub Council to Sponsor Annual Women’s History Month Luncheon on March 28, 2009. The honorees this year will be Kathy Kaminski, for her work with the Variety Club and the Variety Club Women. Tickets are $25 and reservation can be made by calling Patricia Lucey 716-835-8718 before March 15, 2009. Luncheon starts begin 11 am at Amherst Museum (Main Room).

  • Amherst Museum announces new brown bag Lunchtime Lecture Series will begin in March. Lectures are in a variety of topics and start at noon. Lecture admission is $3, museum members are free. For more information visit www.amherstmuseum.org or call 716-689-1440.

  • Williamsville Central School District’s students will be exhibiting their art work during March 24 to April 19 at the Amherst Museum. The exhibit will open with a parent’s reception March 23 and 24. Winter admission is $4 for Adults, and $1 for Children, Museum Members are free. For more information visit www.amherstmuseum.org.
