After graduation, Mike returned to WBFO where he met his wife, Janice, who was working as the station's receptionist. He took a hiatus from WBFO and worked at WGR, WBEN and 97 Rock before returning to the station in the summer of 1995. Mike was a WBFO news anchor and reporter until September 2001, when he transferred to his position as Underwriting Sales Representative.

When he's not at work, Mike likes to spend his spare time at home with his two young children, Jessica and Michael.
