A search was conducted under university rules and regulations for one full time position for an Underwriting Associate. 5 people were interviewed. The job was posted on UB Jobs, WNYJobs.com, and the Buffalo News Job Finder. Brenda Vanhorn was hired for the position on 9/11/06.

Outreach Activities
WBFO's EEO outreach activities during the period covered by this report include:

• Ongoing program providing University at Buffalo students' experiential learning through participation in the programming and membership functions at the radio station. This included students under the Federal Work-Study program.
• Ongoing program of internships and volunteer positions for the News Department interested in news journalism and broadcasting.
• New Intern program broadcasting and producing live music events, start date October, 2007.

• Meet the Author Series, produced by WBFO 88.7 FM, interactive public discourse series geared toward those with a passion for learning, accurate authoritative commentary, and open discussions.
• New HD2 format XPoNential – appealing to younger and wider demographic, implemented March 2007
• Creation and implementation of new music series, Live at Allen Hall, produced by WBFO 88.7FM, start date October, 2007
